Lamerton Church of England school

The first known school in Lamerton was in 1710, but this was superseded in 1823 by another school now known as the Old Schoolhouse. This in time proved to be inadequate and a new Church of England school was built in 1886 at a cost of £600. This building is still in use today and the pupils are achieving very high standards.
